On
June 9, 1999, Senate
Bill 210 was
approved by the
Governor
establishing that
the practice of
counseling alcohol
and drug abusers is
a learned
profession,
affecting the
general public
health, safety and
welfare and is
subject to
regulation to
protect the public
from the practice of
counseling alcohol
and drug abusers by
unqualified persons.
This bill
established NRS
641C.
